I just want to be clear. I'm not calling this good news because I think that the Prius is a solution to climate change, or because I'm particlarly fond of Toyota over other brands. I see this as a sign that people are willing to pay a little extra for a car they perceive as "environmentally friendly", and that they're not bothered by the rather large amount of anti-hybrid propaganda coming from places like Fox and talk radio.
