The Educational Gaming Group at TERC received a NSF/DRK12 grant for Zoombinis: The Full Development Implementation Research Study of a Computational Thinking Game for Upper Elementary and Middle School Learners to fund research associated the study of Zoombinis in middle school STEM classes. It will use measures of computational thinking, persistence, creativity, and critical problem solving to understand the educational value of Zoombinis in classrooms and in “the wild.”
